Visitors with disabilities are welcome to the Spielzeug Welten Museum Basel (Toy Worlds Museum Basle). We will do everything in our power to make your visit as pleasurable as possible. The entire Museum, including the Boutique and Ristorante La Sosta, are designed with disabled access in mind and we will gladly make special arrangements on request. Disabled persons pay a reduced admission price of CHF 5.00 (see admission prices).
Companions of disabled persons who are unable to visit the Museum alone are admitted free of charge. We hope you will enjoy your visit and look forward to seeing you again.

Two wheelchairs are available in the Museum for wheelchair users and persons with walking difficulties.
The interactive information systems on the various floors can be pulled down to sitting height.
State-of-the-art hearing systems are available in the Museum for persons with impaired hearing or a hearing aid. These may be obtained at the cash desk for use on guided tours or at the interactive stations. A valid ID is required as a security deposit.
The hearing system operates with perfect digital wireless transmission and sound processing. The background noises are picked up by a microphone that expands the sound, makes spoken content much clearer and filters out background noises. Ensuring that the Museum visit also remains an unforgettable experience for visitors with impaired hearing.
Printed exhibition catalogues are provided on each floor of the Museum.
Information on select exhibits is available via your own smartphone or tablet through the interactive Museum guide and via the interactive touchscreens on the information consoles.
